Very much part of the current vogue for wordless, image-driven fashion publishing, US newcomer Girls. Girls. Girls. is also set very much apart from it.
Created by photographer Claire Rothstein, Girls. Girls. Girls. seeks to celebrate the sleek female image of the classical fashion magazine of the 70s, the 80s and perhaps the earliest years of the 90s, with all the fantasy, sheen and high glamour that goes with the era. So grunge-free, yes, but conservative? Definitely not. This is an innovative, high end magazine to get excited about.
